He has traversed the length and breadth of Nigeria, embracing its rich diversity, and becoming fluent in three indigenous languages: Hausa, Yoruba, and Edo. This deep-rooted passion for his homeland’s cultural wealth led him to establish CharlieKris Atelier, where every garment is a tribute to Nigeria’s elegance and sophistication. 

Charles’s entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond fashion. His commitment to sharing Nigeria’s heritage also inspired a successful Nigerian food business in the United Kingdom. Starting with his first fashion customer in Derbyshire, the acclaim for his work quickly spread across the UK, Canada, the United States, Nigeria, and beyond. 

At the heart of CharlieKris Atelier is Charles’s unwavering desire to enrich the lives of Nigerians (and Africans), both at home and abroad. He aims to break the cycle of “working for bills” by creating opportunities and fostering success. His advocacy for the untapped potential within Nigeria and Africa is evident—75% of his team is based in various parts of Nigeria, creating jobs and uplifting communities.
